3D SkinMed – Non-Surgical Face Lift
3D Skinmed HIFU (high intensity focused ultrasound) is the latest addition to the range of treatments offered at Anne Roberts Aesthetics. We are proud to be one of the few salons in the North West to offer this revolutionary non-surgical facelift treatment.
The treatment uses focused ultrasound energy to stimulate collagen in the deep support layers of the skin, resulting in the lifting and tightening the face and neck.
The HIFU treatment is sometimes referred to as “Ulthera” or “Ultherapy”. The procedure takes approximately 90 minutes and works because it stimulates the growth of new collagen, resulting in a lifted, firmer, more toned appearance. It is effective on any area of the face or neck with skin laxity, bringing increased definition to the face.
Some people get immediate, noticeable results though the improvements will develop over a period of 2 to 3 months and will continue over the following 6 months. The results last for a period of 1 to 2 years but we would consider it a yearly treatment to keep the ageing process at bay.
This treatment has the advantage of no downtime. It is suitable for anyone who wants to reduce areas of laxity in the face and neck.
